About Us

Amy's Attic started off twelve years ago trading from a rather lovely little shop in Battlesbridge, Essex. Creating and selling "refreshed" vintage furniture alongside pretty vintage crockery and new home accessories, we gradually ran out of space and felt ready to move to the "High Street". So, off we went to Leigh-on-Sea where we traded for a few years. Whilst there the demand for all things under the "Soft Furnishings" umbrella greatly increased which led to our last (well, for now at least!) move. We can now be found in Shotgate, Essex where we are sharing premises with our wonderful upholsterers. From here we offer our design and styling service as well as supplying furniture, mirrors lighting, glassware and ready-made cushions. We also provide a re-upholstery and bespoke upholstery service (encompassing pelmets, headboards, chairs, sofas, footstools/coffee tables etc).

We are still developing another showroom here but customers can always make an appointment to call in to see what we are up to plus discuss their requirements. We have a great selection of fabric books and the kettle is always on!

We still love what we do and like to think that we still provide "Good Things for the Home".
